On September 20, the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum’s “Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and Youth” Professional Salon, co-organized by Capital Normal University(CNU), the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, the Beijing Federation of Social Science Associations, and the Beijing Social Science Planning Office, was grandly held on our campus. The event was hosted by Huang Yanmin, standing member of the Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in CNU and Minister of the Publicity Department.

The salon consisted of two sessions. During the event, Huang Yanmin engaged in dialogue with eight young scholars from domestic universities, research institutes, and international backgrounds. Discussions focused on the core tenets of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, cultural heritage preservation, and mutual learning among civilizations.

Following the salon, Wang Luozhong (Vice President of CNU), Zhang Shuang (Dean of the School of Education), and Hu Lingyue (audience representative) were interviewed by Beijing Radio and Television Station as key participants.
