Symposium on 2025 Beijing Social Science Fund Discipline Development Report Project Held at Capital Normal University

On March 3, Cui Zhanhui, First-level Inspector of the Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles (BFSS) and the Beijing Municipal Social Science Planning Office, led a delegation to Capital Normal University to conduct a research meeting on the “2025 Beijing Social Science Fund Discipline Development Report Project.” Vice President Wang Luozhong affirmed the university’s full support for the innovation and development of philosophy and social sciences. Cui Zhanhui recognized the contributions of research teams such as the Education Research Association in advancing disciplinary progress and emphasized the need to enhance the quality of research outcomes. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Jin, Director of the Academic Activities Office.

Meng Fanhua, President of the Beijing Education Research Association, underscored the importance of consolidating research efforts to produce high-caliber results. Li Xuewen, Deputy Director of the Social Science Division, pledged to refine mechanisms for research management. Journalist Luan Xiaoyu from Economic Daily  recommended strengthening problem-oriented approaches and practical application of research findings. Zhang Shuang, Dean of the School of Education, highlighted the team’s commitment to leveraging its role as a think tank to build an independent knowledge system.

Cui Zhanhui concluded the meeting by officially launching the 2025 project research initiative. Representatives from nearly 20 academic organizations, including the Beijing Education Society and the Beijing Sociological Association, participated in the discussions.
