CNU Holds Education Cooperation Forum with Ulanqab City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Number of hits:On February 27, a delegation led by Wang Changsong, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Ulanqab Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, visited Capital Normal University (CNU) to discuss education collaboration between Beijing and Inner Mongolia. CNU Vice President Wang Luozhong, along with officials from the Office of External Cooperation, Academic Affairs Office, and other departments, attended the forum.
Wang Luozhong introduced CNU’s educational strengths and achievements in regional assistance, emphasizing the university’s efforts to deepen collaboration under the Ministry of Education’s “Teacher Education Synergy and Quality Enhancement Initiative.” He proposed joint initiatives to complement respective advantages and promote balanced regional educational development.
Wang Changsong expressed gratitude for CNU’s long-term support, recognizing the university’s contributions through resource sharing and teacher training programs. He called for expanding cooperation in foundational education to inject fresh momentum into Ulanqab’s educational advancement.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on partnership models and project plans, aiming to refine measures in resource co-development and teacher capacity building, with the goal of establishing a model for regional education collaboration.
