CNU’s Jingjiang College Honored as “Beijing Role Model·Collaboration and Assistance Pioneer” Collective in 2024

Number of hits:The 2024 “Beijing Role Model·Collaboration and Assistance Pioneer” list was recently announced, with Capital Normal University’s (CNU) Jingjiang College receiving the “Pioneer Collective” title. Established in 2012, the college has leveraged CNU’s strengths in teacher education to deliver targeted educational support across regions, having cultivated over 7,000 professionals from Xinjiang’s Hotan Prefecture, the 14th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and central-western provinces. Its programs span all educational levels, from preschool to vocational education.
Guided by the mission to nurture politically steadfast and professionally skilled educators, Jingjiang College has developed a distinctive training framework aligned with CNU’s expertise. Notably, it launched vocational education initiatives tailored to Hotan’s developmental needs, bolstering local educational systems and social stability. As a flagship brand in Beijing’s collaborative assistance efforts, the college has significantly contributed to enhancing border-region teacher capacity and educational quality.
Jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Capital Spiritual Civilization Development Office, the “Beijing Role Model·Collaboration and Assistance Pioneer” campaign aims to promote the capital’s spirit of solidarity, mobilize public participation, and advance high-quality regional partnerships. This recognition highlights Jingjiang College’s exemplary role in implementing national strategies for coordinated development.
