CNU Convened Mid-2025 Anti-Corruption Coordination Meeting

On the morning of May 30, the university convened its 2025 mid-year anti-corruption coordination meeting in Room 210 of the Administration Building to strengthen interdepartmental collaboration and oversight. Chaired by Wang Wei, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, the meeting was attended by heads of relevant units, with representatives from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office present.

Participants studied How the Eight Rules Changed China and reviewed provisions from the Regulations on Thrift and Anti-Waste in Party and Government Offices. Departments including the Discipline Inspection Office, Audit Office, and Finance Office reported on anti-corruption efforts and oversight, discussing identified issues and proposing solutions. The meeting also deliberated on a draft mechanism to enhance synergy among disciplinary, organizational, and financial supervision.

Wang Wei emphasized three priorities: (1) reinforcing political commitment to the Central Eight Rules, (2) tightening oversight on key areas to curb misconduct, and (3) improving long-term mechanisms to integrate anti-corruption measures with institutional development.
