On the morning of May 23, the 2021 Geography Science (Teaching) Class 1 from the College of Resource Environment and Tourism held a graduation-themed class meeting. The "First Head Teacher," Director Li Yi of the Municipal Education Commission, gathered with the students, and Wang Daguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CNU, and others were present. The meeting was presided over by Chang Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college.

At the class meeting, the class leader reported on the achievements of the class, students presented hand-drawn portraits and flowers, and student representatives shared their growth stories.

Ma Qianli encouraged students with the principles of "giving back," "broad learning," and "tenacity."

Li Yi affirmed the students' demeanor and put forward three expectations: to forge a multifaceted ability with the goal of becoming an outstanding teacher; to innovate teaching methods to promote the transformation and upgrade of the classroom; and to seize the opportunities presented by AI to build a new type of educational ecosystem.

This event demonstrated the effectiveness of the "First Head Teacher" system in nurturing talent. In the future, the college will deepen its advantages in education and cultivate more new talents for the era.
