CNU Held a Meeting to Deploy Flood Prevention Work for 2025

Number of hits:On the morning of May 21, Capital Normal University held a meeting to deploy flood prevention work for 2025. The meeting was presided over by Song Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of CNU. Heads of member units of the flood prevention work leadership group.
Prior to the meeting, participants attended online training on flood prevention work in the Beijing education system, learning and understanding the spirit of flood prevention work in the education sector. At the meeting, Li Zhenpo, Director of the Flood Prevention Work Office, reported on the 2025 flood prevention work plan and the revision of emergency plans, while member units exchanged information regarding flood prevention tasks and issues.
Vice Leader of the Flood Prevention Work Leading Group, Song Jun, delivered a speech. He emphasized that all departments should establish the concept of "People First and Life First," and strengthen bottom-line thinking and risk awareness. He proposed four requirements: First, to attach great importance to and enhance awareness of flood prevention and disaster reduction. Second, to prepare in advance and meticulously implement flood prevention preparations. Third, to strengthen duty monitoring and ensure strict information reporting. Fourth, to enhance inter-departmental coordination and cooperation, with leading officials taking proactive command, forming the greatest synergy to ensure campus safety and stability during the flood season.
