On May 22, Capital Normal University held the founding conference of the Liangxiang Campus Management Committee. President Fang Fuquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CNU and Director of the Liangxiang Campus Management Committee Wang Daguang, Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of CNU and Deputy Director of the Liangxiang Campus Management Committee Song Jun, Han Jihua, and nearly 50 responsible officials from member units attended the meeting. The founding conference was presided over by Wang Daguang.

Combining the situation and tasks of the university's reform and development with the challenges faced by the campus operation, requirements are proposed around enhancing the governance capability of the Liangxiang campus. Fang Fuquan emphasized that, first, it is essential to firmly establish a student-centered philosophy, optimize the high-quality curriculum, faculty, and cultural offerings of the Liangxiang campus, and enhance service support capabilities. Second, it is important to foster a “one chessboard” awareness throughout the university, strengthen work collaboration, establish a cross-departmental coordination mechanism. Third, it is necessary to break away from habitual thinking, enhance campus governance capabilities, and explore a multi-campus management model and mechanism that aligns with the characteristics of CNU. Fourth, responsibilities must be effectively enforced and tightened, ensuring a steady operational baseline, leveraging the coordinating functions of the management committee, implementing the primary responsibilities of various departments, and working together to ensure the orderly advancement of all tasks at the Liangxiang campus.

At the founding conference, Fang Fuquan read the "Resolution of the Establishment of the Liangxiang Campus Management Committee of Capital Normal University." Wang Daguang, Song Jun, and Han Jihua respectively made statements. After the meeting, the first meeting of the Liangxiang Campus Management Committee was convened to clarify the operating mechanism and discuss key topics.
