On the morning of April 23, the Logistics Support Department held the 2024 Annual “Most Outstanding Logistics Staff” Awards Ceremony at the International Auditorium. Song Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Capital Normal University, attended the event. Also present were Qi Chenglong, Director of the Student Affairs Office; Fu Wenhong, Executive Vice Chair of the University Trade Union; Bai Xiangning, Director of the Alumni Affairs Office; members of the Logistics Support Department leadership team; and nearly 100 employee representatives from various logistics departments and outsourced service companies. The ceremony was presided over by Xu Hui, Secretary of the Logistics Party Committee.

Attending leaders presented certificates to representatives of the “Most Outstanding Logistics Team,” “Most Outstanding Logistics Staff,” and “Most Outstanding Logistics Staff in the Eyes of Teachers and Students.” Representatives including Chen Hui from the Xue Si Canteen of the Dining Service Center (on behalf of the “Most Outstanding Logistics Team”), Li Wenbin from the Campus Property Center Operations Department, Qu Zhili from the Student Dormitory, and Nan Nan from the Quality Supervision Office (on behalf of the “Most Outstanding Logistics Staff”) delivered speeches. Among them were food service workers safeguarding culinary safety and flavor, campus safety guardians, dormitory staff creating a home-like warmth for students, and versatile round-the-clock coordinators. Through simple yet heartfelt words, they conveyed love and warmth, while vivid examples illustrated their dedication, professionalism, and quiet yet profound contributions.

On behalf of the university, Song Jun congratulated the honored collectives and individuals and extended appreciation to all frontline logistics staff for their year-round commitment. Students from the Primary Education College performed the Shandong folk song Baoleng Diao, vividly recreating the joyful rhythms of labor. The ceremony concluded triumphantly with the powerful melody of Unity is Strength.
