On March 14th, Zhang Ge, Secretary of the Haidian District Committee, and Li Junjie, Deputy Secretary and District Head of Haidian, visited Capital Normal University. They held a symposium with Cao Wenjun, Party Committee Secretary of the University, and Fang Fuquan, President of the University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to discuss deepening cooperation between the university and the district and to jointly write a new chapter of high-quality development. They also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) on cooperation.

Zhang Ge expressed gratitude on behalf of the District Committee and the District Government to Capital Normal University for its long-term concern and support for the development of Haidian. He briefly introduced the latest developments in the economic and social progress of Haidian District. He stated that Haidian will actively build a platform for communication and continuously strengthen policy support in areas such as the application of artificial intelligence scenarios, large models, and computing power supply, as well as joint student training. It will also provide good service and support to vigorously promote the construction of Capital Normal University and create a new model of university-district cooperation. Together, they will make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the capital. Fang Fuquan thanked Haidian District for its long-term strong support and assistance in the construction and development of Capital Normal University. Cao Wenjun, on behalf of the university's Party Committee, also expressed gratitude to Haidian for its long-term support for the university's endeavors. During the meeting, the leaders from both the university and the district signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation between the People's Government of Haidian District and Capital Normal University." Before the meeting, the leaders from both sides jointly visited the Beijing National Center for Applied Mathematics.

Also attending were district leaders Xiao Dan, Cheng Peiheng, and Zhao Han, and university leaders Sun Xiaofeng, Wang Daguan, Ma Ligeng, Wang Wei, Song Jun, Li Hailiang, Han Jihua, and Wang Luozhong.
