CNU Claimed 12 Top Awards in 2025 “Challenge Cup”

On May 29, the 2025 “Challenge Cup” Academic Competition for Beijing college students concluded successfully. Capital Normal University won 126 awards, setting a new institutional record and ranking 10th among all participating universities. The achievements include 2 top prizes (champions), 10 special awards, and 4th place in special thematic competitions, along with an Outstanding Organization Award.

Themed “Youth Innovation for Future Challenges”, this year’s competition attracted over 200,000 students from 82 universities. CNU submitted 207 projects, with 36 advancing to the final round. Two projects from History and Life Sciences departments won championship titles.

Since October 2024, the University Youth League Committee has nurtured 244 projects involving 3,359 participants - both record highs. Through mentor guidance and simulation exercises, project quality was significantly improved.

The Youth League Committee will leverage this success to enhance innovation mechanisms and support student research, contributing to the university’s “Climbing Plan” with youthful energy.
