The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the important directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on adolescent mental health, emphasizing the need to improve the “Five-Pronged Education” system and strengthen psychological services and crisis intervention from the perspective of nurturing talent for the Party. Experts discussed policy refinement and proposal implementation, calling for an optimized growth environment for adolescents and the cultivation of a positive, healthy mindset.

As part of the CPPCC Youth League Sector’s “Serving the People Through Committee Duties” series, the event also featured the “12355 Love ‘Heart’ Campus Tour” youth carnival. Twenty-three universities and seven institutions jointly set up 34 themed booths, offering interactive experiences to help over 1,000 students focus on mental health and showcasing the achievements of mental health education in Beijing’s higher education institutions.

This event established an important platform for building a comprehensive adolescent mental health support system, fostering a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to youth development.
