On May 23, the “Facing the Sun, Thriving Growth” mental health education campaign for primary and secondary school students, organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and co-hosted by Capital Normal University, was held at the Beijing Children’s Palace. Ma Ligeng, Standing Committee Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President, along with Li Huixian, Party Secretary of the School of Psychology, and Wang Zhengyan, Dean of the School of Psychology, attended the event.

During the event, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission officially designated our university as the “Beijing Student Physical and Mental Health Development Service Base,” fully recognizing the university’s contributions in the field of mental health education. The event featured parent-child activities such as the “Healthy Fun Run” and “Peer Garden Tour,” where the School of Psychology designed specialized psychological games like “Catch Your Positive Traits” and “Parent-Child Wheel” to enhance family communication through interactive experiences.

Moving forward, the School of Psychology will leverage its professional expertise to build a service platform bridging the healthcare system and educational institutions, strengthen multi-party collaboration, and continue supporting mental health education for students in Beijing.
