On May 26, Cui Yang, Party Secretary and Director of the Beijing Municipal Justice Bureau, led a delegation to our university for research and held a symposium. Vice Directors Bao Lei and Ma Fuwei accompanied the visit. University Party Secretary Cao Wenjun presided over the meeting, with Vice Presidents Wang Daguang and Wang Luozhong, along with heads of relevant departments and experts, participating in the discussions.

Cao Wenjun expressed gratitude for the long-standing support from the Justice Bureau and emphasized the university’s commitment to leveraging its academic strengths to deepen cooperation in legal theory research, talent cultivation, and other areas, thereby contributing to the capital’s rule of law development. Cui Yang highly praised the university’s achievements and proposed enhanced collaboration in legislative research, legal publicity, and talent training, including the establishment of joint practice bases and a regular coordination mechanism.

During the symposium, both sides reviewed previous cooperative outcomes and explored future collaboration directions. Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited the university’s history museum and art gallery.

This visit has established a new platform for university-bureau cooperation, which will provide stronger legal support for the capital’s development in the new era.
