University Held President’s Scholarship Award Ceremony

On the afternoon of May 26, the 2025 President’s Scholarship Award Ceremony was held in the lecture hall of the Laboratory Building. Attendees included Fang Fuquan, President of the university and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Ma Ligeng and Han Jihua, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Presidents; heads of relevant university departments; secretaries, deans, and deputy deans of various schools and departments; as well as student representatives.

The “President’s Scholarship” is the university’s most prestigious and exemplary award, granted annually to approximately 40 outstanding students.

Han Jihua announced the list of awardees. In 2025, after a rigorous selection process, three doctoral students, two master’s students, and ten undergraduates received the first-class President’s Scholarship, while seven doctoral students, eight master’s students, and ten undergraduates were awarded the second-class President’s Scholarship.

Fang Fuquan presented the scholarship trophies and certificates to the recipients and took commemorative photos with them.

Six award-winning student representatives—Luo Ouli (undergraduate, School of Information Engineering), Zhao Zixuan (undergraduate, School of Education), Lu Ying (master’s student, Department of Physics), Zhang Bolun (master’s student, School of History), Long Teng (doctoral student, Department of Chemistry), and Ye Zhu (doctoral student, School of Mathematical Sciences)—shared their experiences and insights in turn.

On behalf of the university, Fang Fuquan congratulated the awardees and expressed gratitude to the faculty members for their dedicated efforts in nurturing students’ growth and success.
