Capital Normal University Holds Symposium on Beijing-Inner Mongolia Education Collaboration

Number of hits:On the morning of March 31, Capital Normal University convened a symposium on Beijing-Inner Mongolia education collaboration. Attendees included Ge Junkai, Deputy Secretary-General of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and leader of Beijing’s seventh cohort of counterpart assistance cadres to Inner Mongolia; Cao Wenjun, Secretary of the University Party Committee; Sun Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee; Wang Luozhong, Party Committee Standing Committee member and Vice President; Zhao Jian, Director of the External Cooperation Office; representatives from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Education’s Cooperation and Exchange Division; the University Press; and the Shuangyou Yunqiao (Double Excellence Cloud Bridge) team. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Jian.
Cao Wenjun extended a warm welcome to Ge Junkai and his delegation, emphasizing the university’s commitment to prioritizing high-quality resource allocation to support Inner Mongolia’s development as a key mission. Ge Junkai praised Capital Normal University’s contributions to the collaboration and expressed hopes to jointly advance a "2.0 phase" of Beijing-Inner Mongolia education cooperation. Chu Nankai, head of the Shuangyou Yunqiao team’s "Beijing-Inner Mongolia Education Collaboration Smart Platform," reported on the platform’s current applications and future plans. Cheng Jincai, Deputy Dean of the Shuangyou Yunqiao Education Research Institute, presented findings from the "Baseline Survey for Enhancing Teaching and Research Capabilities in County-level High Schools and Former Ethnic Language-Based Schools in Inner Mongolia."
In his concluding remarks, Wang Luozhong stressed the need to implement the symposium’s outcomes, contribute to synergistic development in education between the two regions, explore "AI+" applications, and transition from one-way support to bidirectional collaboration, leveraging digital intelligence to empower comprehensive educational advancement in Inner Mongolia.
