The College of Fine Arts Visited Honor Company to Expand Job Opportunities and Held the Appointment Ceremony for the First Head Teacher

Number of hits:On the morning of March 28, a delegation led by Wang Wei, standing member of the Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in CNU and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, organized by the College of Fine Arts, visited the Honor North Branch Factory Experimental Base and the User Experience Aesthetics Laboratory for enterprise visits and research exchange activities, to promote the deep integration of industry, education, and research, strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, and broaden employment channels for students. Fang Wei, Director of the Student Services and Quality Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Liu Rui, Party Secretary of the College of Fine Arts, and some faculty and students from the college participated in the event. Ge Feng, Head of the User Experience Design Department of Honor Co., Ltd., Feng Zhengxuan, Campus Recruitment Director, and Li Wenbing, Expert from the R&D Management Department of Honor, also participated in the exchange.
The faculty and students visited the Honor North Branch Factory experimental base and the User Experience Aesthetics Laboratory.
During the discussion session, Ge Feng introduced the company's scope of business. Feng Zhengxuan introduced the company's philosophy on talent recruitment and support for employee development. Li Wenbing shared his experience working at Honor as an alumnus. Students from the design major raised questions regarding the core competencies of future designers, including innovative thinking, aesthetic ability, and the cultivation of interdisciplinary integration skills.
Wang Wei presented the "First Head Teacher" appointment letter to Fang Wei, and Liu Rui awarded the "Employment and Entrepreneurship Mentor" appointment letter from the "Art+" Employment Master Studio to Feng Zhengxuan.
In this enterprise visit and job expansion activity, teachers and students engaged in multi-dimensional exchanges on the front lines of enterprises. The industry dynamics and talent demand standards feedback from companies provided valuable references for the college’s education and teaching reform as well as the optimization of talent cultivation models. This helped students gain a direct understanding of enterprise needs and learn to plan their career paths in advance. In the future, we will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with enterprises, cultivating more art talents that align with social needs, possessing both professional qualities and innovative capabilities, injecting new momentum into industry development.
