The 26th Psychological Culture Season Opened - the First Psychological Carnival Activity

On April 2nd, the opening ceremony of the 26th Psychological Culture Season and the Psychological Carnival of our university was grandly held at the Xiachen Square of the main campus. This activity was hosted by the Psychological Quality Education and Counseling Center of the Student Work Department and organized by the Department of Chemistry. Wang Daguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CNU, Qi Chenglong, Minister of the Student Work Department, Li Xiaodong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Chemistry, along with relevant colleagues from some functional departments and Party committee secretaries and deputy secretaries, and counselors from various colleges attended the opening ceremony.

This psychological carnival features the "Major+" psychological education model, with 20 departments carefully designing a variety of experiential activities based on their respective academic characteristics. The activity lasted for three hours, with nearly three thousand participants, including faculty and students, engaging in the activities. The atmosphere on-site was lively.

In the activity, the Psychological Quality Education and Counseling Center, along with the "Intelligent Teacher Education Interdisciplinary Platform in Beijing - Emotion Computing Team," conducted AI psychological counseling activities. Various colleges and departments skillfully integrated disciplinary knowledge with emotional healing, making mental health education more vivid and interesting through immersive experiences. Students not only felt the charm of their disciplines during the participation but also gained positive emotional experiences. The Psychological Counseling Center also set up a dedicated booth to provide professional services for teachers and students.

It is reported that this psychological carnival activity is an important practice in building a "whole-person education" campus ecosystem, and it will be successively carried out in the other three campuses. During the Psychological Culture Season, our university will also launch a series of themed activities to continuously focus on student mental health and support student growth and success.
