On the afternoon of March 31, the Party Committee of Capital Normal University held a symposium on "Inspiring Teachers with the Spirit of Educators". Party Secretary of CNU Cao Wenjun attended the symposium and delivered a speech, while Deputy Party Secretary Wang Daguan presided over the meeting. Niu Yajun, Minister of the Teacher Work Department, along with outstanding young teacher representatives from 23 teaching units, participated in the symposium.

Wang Daguang stated that we organized a seminar with representatives of young teachers on "Inspiring Teachers with the Spirit of Educators," which is a vigorous practice of deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the spirit of educators and carrying out the action to inspire  teachers with this spirit. He hopes that teachers will transform their learning outcomes into effective practices in education.

Professors, associate professors, and lecturers, including Guan Yongjuan from the College of Life Sciences, spoke in succession. They shared their profound understanding of the six essential connotations of the educator's spirit from different perspectives, combining their professional characteristics and growth experiences, and reminisced about unforgettable moments in teaching and nurturing students.

Cao Wenjun fully affirmed the significant importance of this symposium, especially emphasizing that young teachers are the backbone of the teaching staff of our university and gave a high evaluation of the wonderful speeches made by the young teacher representatives. She pointed out that the current "three major attributes" of education and the integrated reform of the education and technology talent system have raised new requirements for the development positioning and competency of the teaching workforce. She expects all young teachers in CNU to: uphold the original intention of education, enhance their ability to nurture students, cultivate noble teacher ethics, and unite in development efforts to promote the high-quality development of education.
