To advance the “Year of Standardizing, Legalizing, and Formalizing Discipline Inspection and Supervision Work,” Wang Wei, standing member of the Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in CNU and Secretary of the University Discipline Inspection Commission, led a delegation to Beijing Union University and Beijing Chemical Technology University for thematic research exchanges on March 5 and 10. Members from the University Discipline Inspection Commission, the Office of the Supervision Commissioner, and the Inspection Office participated in the visits.

During the exchanges, the delegation held discussions with Du Baode, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Beijing Union University, and Qu Yan, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Beijing Chemical Technology University. Key topics included advancing the concretization of political oversight, establishing a collaborative oversight mechanism integrating discipline inspection, audit, and inspection functions, and strengthening supervision in critical areas. Beijing Union University highlighted its model of coordinated operations between discipline inspection, supervision, and inspection work, while Beijing Chemical Technology University shared insights on enhancing political oversight and developing professional inspection teams. Wang Wei praised the achievements of both institutions, emphasizing that the exchanges provided innovative ideas for jointly promoting the standardization and legalization of discipline inspection and supervision. She expressed hope for establishing long-term collaboration mechanisms to address common challenges and elevate the quality of discipline inspection and supervision work in both ministry-affiliated and municipal universities. All members of the university’s discipline inspection, supervision, and inspection departments attended the visits.
