On the morning of March 28, the "Beijing Universities Interdisciplinary Professional Study Work Promotion Conference" hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission was held at Beijing University of Science and Technology, with video sub-venues set up simultaneously at universities across the city. Cai Chun, Standing member of the Committee of the Communist Party of China in CNU and Vice President of CNU, and Qian Yihui, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, attended the main venue. The Academic Affairs Office organized a video sub-venue to watch the live broadcast of the conference.

At the conference, representatives from five universities, including Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Capital Normal University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Information Science and Technology University, and Beijing Economic Management Vocational College, engaged in in-depth discussions focusing on innovative models for interdisciplinary training. Cai Chun delivered a keynote report titled "Complementing Advantages, Pursuing Mutual Goals, and Collaborative Education—Practices and Reflections on the Dual Bachelor's Degree Program Construction at Capital Normal University." He systematically introduced our university’s practical explorations to promote interdisciplinary integration and enhance the quality of training for composite talents from three dimensions: top-level design, implementation effectiveness, and optimization strategies. This includes measures such as forming interdisciplinary teaching teams led by renowned teachers, constructing a comprehensive interdisciplinary curriculum system, and creating a collaborative practice platform for interdisciplinary projects.

Our university will take this conference as an opportunity to continuously deepen the reform of the dual bachelor's degree program training model, optimize the ecological layout of disciplines and majors, and improve the collaborative education mechanism, making greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of higher education in Beijing and serving the economic and social development of the capital.
