The 11th Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Textbook Academic Forum was Successfully Held

Number of hits:The 11th Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Textbook Academic Forum, co-sponsored by the Faculty of Education, School of Education, and the Textbook Museum of Capital Normal University, was successfully held in Beijing from November 11 to November 12. Nearly 200 experts, scholars and graduate student representatives participated in the forum, who come from more than 60 colleges and universities at home and abroad, such as Otemon Gakuin University in Japan, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, National Taipei University of Education in Taiwan, China, The Education University of Hong Kong in China, City University of Macau in China, Beijing Normal University, more than 10 scientific research institutions, such as the National Institute Of Education Sciences, more than 50 primary and secondary schools, such as Shijia Hutong Primary School in Dongcheng District, Beijing, as well as publishing houses such as People's Education Press and Guangming Daily, news media, academic journals and other institutions.
The theme of this forum is "Adapting to the Cultivation of Top-notch Innovative Talents and Promoting the Construction of High-Quality Textbook System". More than 10 experts and scholars, including professor Tian Huisheng from Capital Normal University and researcher Yu Hongliang from People's Education Press, delivered keynote speeches at the conference, and conducted in-depth discussions on the theoretical and practical issues of building a high-quality textbook system. The forum has five sub forums, including "Major Theme Education in Textbooks", "Theoretical and Practical Exploration of Textbook Construction", "History and Future: Textbook Development", "What is a Good Textbook: Textbook Evaluation", and "Research on the Use of Primary and Secondary School Textbooks", as well as three academic salons for graduate students. Meanwhile, the 7th academic annual conference of the Educational Cultural Relics Research Branch of the Chinese Association for Local Education History and Annals was successfully held on November 12.
