On the morning of April 14, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate invited the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and CNU to hold a press conference on deepening the demonstrative construction of the minor’s prosecution social support system and promoting the implementation of the  Specification for minor’s justice social work service . Lei Xingshan, member of the Standing Committee of the CNU Party Committee, vice president of CNU, and director of the Minor’s Prosecution Social Work Support System Research Base of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, and Xi Xiaohua, executive director of the base, were invited to the press conference. At the press conference, Lei Xingshan reported on the research and development process, specific content and application value of the  Specification for minor’s justice social work service (hereinafter referred to as the “Specification”). During the press Q&A, Lei Xingshan also introduced CNU’s specific plan to publicize  and implement the Specification.

In 2009, Prof. Xi Xiaohua accepted the delegation of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and started to work on the Specification. The Specification was officially issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration on March 17, 2023, becoming the second national standard in social work service and the first national standard in judicial social work service. The promulgation and implementation of the Specification are of great significance to improving the professional level of minor’s judicial social service, promoting the development of the minor’s judicial social service industry, supporting the construction of minor’s prosecution social support system and advancing the high-quality development of minor’s judicial protection.
