On November 15, the 2024 World Chinese Conference, organized by the Ministry of Education of China, opened at the National Convention Center. Invited by the conference, Ma Ligeng, a member of the University Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, attended the opening ceremony and the plenary session. Our Hungarian international student, Hu Lingyue, was invited to participate in the opening ceremony and spoke at the conference as a representative of the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship students. She was the only international student representative among the eight speakers at the opening ceremony.

On the morning of the 16th, the parallel session two of the 2024 World Chinese Conference, themed "Construction of the Academic System of International Chinese Education and Practical Innovation," was successfully held, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and co-organized by Capital Normal University.

On the afternoon of the 16th, the parallel session seven of the 2024 World Chinese Conference, titled "Localization Development and System Construction of International Chinese Education," successfully took place, organized by the Center for Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, with assistance from Beijing Normal University and Dalian University of Foreign Languages.

On the morning of the 17th, the winners of the "Language Bridge Cup" 2024 International Chinese Education Digital Teaching Skills Exchange and Exhibition Event, organized by the Chinese Language Alliance, received their awards at the award ceremony of the special session five of the 2024 World Chinese Conference - the "2024 Global Chinese Alliance Conference." Vietnamese international students of our university Luanshi Fangcao and Fan Yumeiying won the first and second prizes, respectively.
