December 9th, the pre-service training for Chinese directors of Confucius Institutes (Second Half of 2024), hosted by the China International Chinese Education Foundation and organized by our university, officially commenced in the lecture hall of the International Culture Building in the North Campus. Zhao Lingshan, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China International Chinese Education Foundation, along with relevant department heads, Ma Ligeng, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our university, and leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the College of International Education attended the opening ceremony. The training will last for 12 days and will include expert lectures, case analysis, discussion and exchange, and study visits. After the training, the participating directors will go to work at Confucius Institutes in 43 countries around the world.
