Ambassador Huo Yuzhen Lectured on Central and Eastern Europe for CNU’s Teachers and Students2021-11-09

  On the afternoon of October 14, the “Talk about Diplomacy with Ambassadors” Lecture of CNU was held. Ambassador Huo Yuzhen, Special Representative for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a lecture titled Walk into Central and Eastern Europe to CNU’s teachers and students at invitation.

  During the lecture, Ambassador Huo Yuzhen analyzed the natural environment, unique products, cultural features, resource advantages and national character of central and eastern European countries. She also analyzed the uniqueness of central and eastern European countries and their roles in the international arena from their common characteristics and differences and introduced how to deepen cooperation for mutual benefit and better serve the Belt and Road Initiative from the perspective of both China and central and eastern European countries. With regard to bilateral education exchange and cooperation, Ambassador Huo Yuzhen introduced the overall situation of education in central and eastern European countries from education philosophy, characteristics, contributions and integration. Starting from the 2018 Year of China-CEEC Education and Youth Exchange, she introduced the cooperative construction of education platforms between the two sides and the mutual promotion and progress of international education through multi-pronged and diversified programs. Finally, this lecture concluded with potential education cooperation programs between the two sides and ideas about how to promote vocational education.
