CNU Undertakes Training of Administrators for Experimental Bases of Series of Olympic Activities for China’s Teenager Makers2016-05-30

Between May 27 and 28, CNU began to train administrators for experimental bases of series of Olympic activities for China’s teenager makers. Over 400 principals and headmasters attended the training from 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China. The meeting was chaired by Fang Yunjia, Deputy Executive Board Chairman of the Research Center of Teenager Innovative Thinking Education, the Chinese Society of Education.


Speeches were made by Yan Nianlu, Secretary General of Chinese Society of Education and Zheng E, Party Secretary of CNU.


At the opening ceremony, Yang Nianlu, as a representative, accepted 8-million-yuan worth of equipment donated to 37 experimental bases across Sichuan and Guizhou by Manage Xu Lijun of Longteng Software Co., Ltd. of Zhong Wang (hereafter called Zhong Wang for short). Devoted to push maker education, Zhong Wang is striving to achieve the on-the-site training of 20,000 teachers in 2016.


At the event, Yang Nianlu and Chairman Nielson from Math Education Society of Denmark signed an agreement on the exchange of maker education between Chinese and Danish teenagers. Relevant specialists delivered a report on “Educational Innovation Under the Scenario of Maker Movement: Ideas and Action”. Work plans were introduced by over 20 program managers from Chinese Youth Maker Olympians.
