CNU Advanced Innovation Center Signs Cooperation Agreement with Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics2016-04-13

On April 7 and 8, the CNU President, Gong Huili led the CNU Advanced Innovation Center to visit the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics, and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIOMP). An Agreement of Collaborative and Innovative Cooperation was signed between the CIOMP and the CNU. They discussed issues of utilizing complementary advantages, collaborating on major projects, promoting transmissions of scientific achievements and setting advanced innovation goals. Members of the center visited Changchun Gpixel Inc., Daheng Building, National Key Laboratory of Luminescence and Application and National Key Laboratory of Applied Optics.


The CIOMP focuses on luminescence, applied optics, optical engineering and precision mechanics and instrumentation. It is called as the Cradle of Optics in China. The CIOMP has contributed 23 professionals as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) or the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). Currently, the CIOMP has 6 State Key Laboratories and research centers and 2 CAS Key Laboratories; making various scientific and technological breakthroughs and vital contributions to national defense, economic development and social progress.
