CNU Holds the 3rd China Public Archaeology Forum?CNU Annual Symposium2015-10-28

The CNU held the 3rd China Public Archaeology Forum?CNU Annual Symposium from October 25 to 26. The forum is co-organized by the Institute of Archaeology, the Chinese Academy of Social Science and the CNU. The Public Archaeology Research Center of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Science, the College of History, the website Chinese Archaeology and the CNU Public Archaeology Center co-hosted it. 150 representatives from more than 50 archaeological institutions, universities and the Xinhua News Agency, Peoples Daily, Guangming Daily and other media attended it.


The forum aimed to showcase the Chinese archaeological achievements and encourage the public to know more about this field.. The forum had a presentation as well as a seminar.  The attendees discussed about front-line archaeology, archaeology in the campus and the public archaeology and the media.


The Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese Social Science Net and Chinese Archaeology have reported about this event.
