CNU Holds the First Competition of Counsellor Occupational Skills2015-11-03

On October 30, CNU held the first Competition of Counsellor Occupational Skills. The Deputy Party Secretary Miao Jinxiang, leaders and counsellors of related offices, all colleges and departments attended this competition.


The competition had preliminary and final rounds, intended to practice occupational skills through this competition. In the preliminary round, there were in-depth counseling cases, proposal writing of activities with specific themes and self-presentations. In the final round, candidates had topic presentations, case analyses and mock conversations. Ten candidates successfully cleared the preliminary round and competed the final round. Eventually, Wang Xun from the College of Life Sciences won the first prize of the competition. 


The competition shed light on the CNU “Counsellor-Assisted Growing Project”. The CNU invited experts on ideological and political education of college students as external tutors. 11 experts from the Beijing Municipal Education Committee, some universities and research centers were recruited as the first group of tutors. The Deputy Party Secretary Miao Jinxiang issued recruitment letters to these experts.
