This year is the 70th anniversary of the Victory of Chinese People’s Resistance against Japanese Aggression and World Anti-Fascist War. On the eve of September 3rd, the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission awarded medals to about 210,000 veterans, retired comrades and generals who have served during the Sino-Japanese war and those foreign friends who contributed to the victory of China or their surviving family members to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people against the Japanese invasion.


30 retired cadres of the University received this honor. Recently, The Party Commission Secretary Mr. Zheng E and the Deputy Secretary Mr. XuZhi Hong followed by a group of officials from relevant departments and units visited those old comrades and the surviving family members of those who were no more, awarding them with commemorative medals and Homage money, paying them respect and greetings on behalf of the Central Committee of the Party, the State Council, the Central Military Commission and the Municipal Commission and the Government of Beijing.
