An important research achievement of Department of Chemistry from “One of Important Labs of Beijing Municipality for Optical Functional Materials and Instruments” was published on a world famous academic journal2015-06-16

Recently, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (German Applied Chemistry with 2014 Influential Factor 11.336), one of the top international journals on chemistry, carried, on-line, an academic paper An Organic Microlaser Array Based on a Lateral Microcavity of a Single J-aggregation Microbelt. Such an achievement is the most upto-date research achievement from “one of Important Labs of Beijing Municipality for Optical Functional Materials and Instruments” made by Professor Fu Hongbing of Department of Chemistry. It is also a research achievement accomplished by Jin Xue, a MS graduate student tutored by Prof. Fu Hongbin and Prof. Liao Qing with Chemistry Department as first research institution. This research achievement has been sponsored by programs such as Program 973 from National Science and Technology Department (2011CB808402 and 2013CB933500), National Natural Sciences Foundation (91222203, 21273251, 91333111, 21190034, and 21221002) and the program from Beijing’s knowledge-innovation tram on “the Research of Organic Micro-nona Crystalline Materials and Instruments” (IDHT20140512).


This research achievement has provided new research ideas and ways for the design of micro coherent light sources. It is of important guiding significance, indicating that the academic research of Chemistry Department has achieved international standards in this domain. Angewandte Chemie is published by Wiley Online Library; it is a top-notch journal in the domain of international chemistry research, which mainly carries important research achievements in chemistry –related papers and is of important influence in the domain of chemical research.
