Delegation from Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo paid a visit to Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban)2015-05-11

 Recently, President Satish K. Tripathi of University at Buffalo and Vice President Staphen Dunnett, Concurrently Director of Confucius Institute, paid a visit to Hanban, conducting exchanges with Xu Lin, Director of Hanban. Present at the meeting was President Gong Huili, who represented CNU, a counterpart co-operative university, with Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo.


 At the meeting, Director Xu made a very positive comment on Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo actively integrating itself into the mainstream, setting up the graduate program on training local Chinese teachers and implementing “New Confucius Chinese Program”. Right now, Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo has entered the stage of implementing the second 5-year-plan. Having gradually integrated itself into the academic mainstream of University at Buffalo, and successfully getting the program approved on MA in the Chinese language, Confucius Institute has become an important institution in the academic disciplinaries of University at Buffalo. President Gong expressed CNU’s intention to co-operate with University at Buffalo and provide 100% support for Confucius Institute of University at Buffalo by actively coordinating policies from Hanban.
