On May 15, the unveiling ceremony as well as calligraphic show was held at the Exhibition Center of Qian’an City for the teaching and practice base of the Institute of Chinese Calligraphic Culture Research. Yang Chunjing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Pan Liang, secretary of the Committee of Disciplinary Inspection of the municipal government of Qian’an did the ceremonial unveiling for the base of the teaching and practice. Nearly 70 people were present at the event including leaders from related functions of the municipal government of Qian’an and teachers and students from the Institute of Chinese Calligraphic Culture Research.

The establishment of the teaching base has been an important undertaking by the Institute of Chinese Calligraphic Culture Research at CNU since last year’s building of facilities like Shouqinhong Calligraphic Garden and Shoutailong Calligraphic Garden. This is an important addition to the conventional school-running practice by graduate students on the campus, which aims at improving the students’ hands-on capabilities through the exchange at the practical level.
