A poems recital was held at CNU in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the victory over Japan in World War II2015-04-22

On April 20, the 2nd China Poems Recital Season kicked off at CNU in an attempt “’not to forget history, and treasure peace’, a poems recital to be held at the CNU stop in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the victory over Japan in World War II”. Hosted by the Organization Committee of the poems recital named “Xiaqing Cup”, initiated by China National Radio, the event was run by the League Committee, Institute of Liberal Arts, and Conservatory Institute. Li Zhaoxing, former minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and director of the Commission of Foreign Affairs of the 11th Chinese National People’s Congress, and his wife and Party Secretary Zheng E of CNU were present at the recital. Zhai Xianhe, a famous performing artist, was invited to the event. Also present were artists like Yu Fang, the chief hostess of Voice of China from China National Radio. Programs like Northwest Song Series, and Songs of Light were performed at the event by students from “Jane?Interior Band” of the Conservatory Institute and Luming Recital Society of Institute of Liberal Arts.
