Physics teacher, Wang Jingying’s academic influence on the internationalization of education and scientific research tops among Mainland Normal Universities2017-05-22

    The Report on the Internationalization of Educational Scientific Research in Normal Universities in China was released in the International Forum for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education sponsored by South China Normal University (SCNU) on May 11, 2017. It stood proof to the increasing number of educational research papers from Chinese Normal Universities published during 2013-2016. Top among them were the Beijing Normal University (BNU), the East China Normal University (ECNU) and the Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU). Wang Jingying from CNU, Wu Bian from ECNU and Wang Yan from BNU rank as the top 3 scholars with academic influence with maximum paper publications.  Wang Jingying had highest scores for 7 items. This demonstrated the development of the most cutting-edge educational research in the international community and remarkable progress in improving the international influence in the faculty and educational research at the CNU.

    Doctor Wang Jingying joined the department of Physics in 2009 and has been serving as the Associate Professor since January, 2012, engaging in study in scientific education, teachers’ education and comparative education. She has published 14 articles and papers in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) since 2013 and 10 articles in first class journals. She has also contributed to 7 papers in SSCI and 3 papers in first class journals as the first author since 2015. What’s more- she has over 50 papers in Chinese academic journals and 10 papers in CSSCI as the first author since 2012. She has won various prizes and honors-Nomination for the best Chinese doctor publishing over 100 academic papers in 2011, the first prize for the 6th Greatest Educational Scientific Research Achievements of Beijing in 2013 individually and the second prize for the 5th Greatest Educational Scientific Research Achievements of China in 2016 individually). Due to her commendable achievements and academic influence in the international academic community, she was chosen as the new guest Editor-in-Chief for Computers in Human Behavior of SSCI.
