Ma Ligeng

Born in June of 1965, Mr. Ma is doctorate from the China Agricultural University. He did his post-doctoral research on molecular and developmental biology at Yale University of USA. He is now a professor and doctoral tutor at the Institute of Life Science of CNU. Prof. Ma is largely devoted to the research of the developmental biology of plants and he has made worldly renowned technological achievement in the domain of molecular genetics. Over 40 academic papers of Prof. Ma have been recorded by SCI, which has quoted an amazing total of 1,500 times from his research papers of which 210 times have been quoted from his single-piece research papers. Prof. Ma is a recipient of multiple awards such as second-grade award from the Foundation for Prominent Youth in the National Natural Sciences, one from Natural Sciences of China, one for technological advancement by the Ministry of Education and the first-class award for natural sciences of Hebei Province. He has won the honorable title of one of the middle-aged and youth experts who have made outstanding contributions in Hebei Province. He has been put in charge of mane important programs like one of the Foundation for Prominent Youth in the National Natural Sciences, one of the Foundation for the National Natural Sciences and the special one for one of the major important projects like 863.
