Fu Hongbing

Aged 41, a doctorate and professor, and doctoral tutor, Mr. Fu is put in charge of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He is the Chief expert for the Program of 973 by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Graduated from Lanzhou University as an undergraduate, he got his doctorate from the Institute of Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Chronologically, he did his post-doctoral research at Leuven University of Belgium and Colorado State University of USA. He has selected for “100 Talents Program” by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has directed his research in the study of organic low-dimensional materials with optical features and ultrafast spectroscopy. He has published over 80 academic papers in journals such as JACS (5), Adv. Mater. (7), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (6), JPC A/B/C (17), JCP (8), Chem. Commun. (8), and his research papers have been quoted by others for over 1300 times. He is concurrently serving as member of the Work Committee of International Affairs of Chinese Chemistry Society and editorial for Journal of Chemistry (since 2012).
