Liu Zhaoli

Born in September of 1963, Mr. Liu, doctorate from Shandong University, is an expert on nonlinear analysis. He is also known as a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars by the Ministry of Education; a distinguished professor of Beijing Municipality; one of the first batch of top-notch talents in Beijing; one of the core members of the innovative team of the Ministry of Education; a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; and second-class award winner of natural sciences from the Ministry of Education.

Prof. Liu’s research is on the theory of the critical point and its application. He and his partners have developed a way to keep the decreased flow unchanged. He is the first one who has successfully applied this new method to the theory of non-linear oval differential equation. Therefore he has achieved a series of new results and solved a whole lot of difficult problems in the aspects of reexplaintion existence and properties of variable numbers. He has published his specialized academic book, which has been quoted 600 times, and he has also published quite a few academic papers in a number of important international math journals such as Adv. Mats., Comm. Math. Phy., J. Func. Anal., Math. Zeit., JDE, AIHP-Anal. nonL., Comm. PDE, Proc. LMS. His methods have been widely adopted by his international peers, who call his research ground-breaking work.
