Mr. Zuo, secondary professor at CNU, is the deputy director of the Chinese Literature Thought Research Center and leader of the doctorate point of the first rate major of the Chinese language literature. A distinguished profeoosr on the Program for the Chang Jiang Scholars by the Ministry of Education, Prof. Zuo is the deputy director of the (Preparatory) Society of the National Ming Dynasty Literature, executive deputy director of the Society of Chinese Wenxindiaolong, a classic Chinese literature, member of the 11th session of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, member on the review panel of the Chinese Literature by the Foundation of the National Social Science and member on the review panel of the Chinese Language and Literature Group of the Diploma Committee of the State Council. In 1999, Mr. Zuo got the award for the nation’s first batch of prominent doctorate papers. In 2002, he got the award for youth teachers by the Ministry of Education. Mr. Zuo was the recipient of special subsidies from State Council in 2009. Following a chronological order, he published his academic books such as Zhi Li and the Lit. Thoughts of Late Ming, Xue Wang and Mindset of Scholars of Late Ming, Mind and Poetics of the Ming Dynasty, General History of Chinese Poetry (Hu Ming Edition) and Research of Lit. Thoughts of Ming. Prof. Zuo has published over 100 academic papers and he is now in charge of the major bid-inviting program sponsored by the Foundation for Nation’s Social Science-“the Research of Lit. Thoughts at the Time of Change of Dynasties”.
